On the 29th October 2016 Jasmine & Tony celebrated their Destination Wedding in Phuket, at the Sri Panwa Resort & Spa, exclusive Wedding Venue. Their Phuket Luxury Wedding has been designed and planned by Wedding Boutique Phuket.
Hong Kong Couple Jasmine and Tony chose Phuket and particularly Sri Panwa to be their Wedding Venue because they were both overwhelmed by the beautiful view when they first visited Sri Panwa two years ago on vacation.
They wanted to share with their closest families and friends all the beauty and natural serenity of this place and of Phuket Island during the most special occasion in their life: their Destination Wedding in Phuket!
Being in the public relations industry for years and having the experience of managing hundreds of corporate events, large and small, the Bride Jasmine had an entire vision of what their perfect Wedding would be like – small personalized details that touch the hearts of guests, a seamless rundown, the wow factors… she has a full list in her mind. What she was missing was a perfect partner to help her realize her Big Day dream.
Talking with the Bride… “We know Ilaire from Wedding Boutique Phuket is the one when we first met her 12 months before our wedding. As our Destination Wedding Planner, she didn’t just do what we asked for, but way beyond that. She takes our Wedding in Phuket to her heart and because of her vast experience, she was able to give us constructive advices and ideas that complete our Dream Wedding”.
The Couple wanted to create a unique Wedding experience for their guests, most of them have never participated in a Destination Wedding. They chose a combination of their favourite colors, light pink, white and navy blue, and aspired to develop an elegant and intimate atmosphere. While the setting of Sri Panwa has already included some beautiful backdrops like a panoramic sea view, the Couple mentioned specifically that they wanted to immerse this beauty into the design, instead of creating something totally from scratch.
(by the way, we got the CUTEST FLOWER GIRL ever, and her name is Flower!)
Everyone was so excited waiting for the Bride. And Yes, the Groom… was a little bit nervous!
Talking with the Bride… “I love how Wedding Boutique Phuket team being genuinely care about every detail of the Wedding like what a Bride usually does. There was a moment I was very worried about the pink colour we chose as the theme, as there are different shades of it and I was afraid of how theses might affect the entire design. Ilaire told me, from her experience, at the end of the day only she and I will know the difference (which is so true). But she reckoned that this tiny issue is enough for us to worry about so both of us made a decision to align the color as blush. I felt much more comfortable afterwards and on the Big Day I was happy with the result!”.
During the planning journey, the couple treated Ilaire as part of the team, not a vendor.
“I always believe that the best Wedding design should be a co-creation. The Couple should never leave the planner to decide everything for them. I am so glad that Ilaire shared this belief and throughout those 12 months we worked like a dream team, we shared ideas with each other, I asked her for advice on our outfits and accessories, and she would tell me honestly what would work and what wouldn’t.” – Said The Bride Jasmine.
We chose the paper lanterns to match with the romantic lighting of the Dinner Reception Venue. Defying from ordinary and costly ceiling decoration like cascading flowers and garden green, Ilaire considered the couple’s vision to create unique texture with the theme colours as well as budget concern and then she suggested this more cost effective option. Wedding Boutique Team worked closely with the couple to source the right lanterns and partnered with the Sri Panwa’s in-house team to carefully execute the ideas. The result was a stunning and immersive ambience that everyone, including the Couple and the working crew, wowed about…
