“I had an inkling that Ilaire from Wedding Boutique Phuket was amazing, but I didn’t think she would blow our minds.
I am quite familiar with Thailand so I know it’s no easy feat to pull off a wedding without a hitch which is why I knew I had to enlist a wedding planner with local knowledge and network.
I chose Ilaire after reading about her background in fashion design. I knew we weren’t going to get a ‘run of the mill’ wedding. I really wanted to work with someone who would take the time to ask the right questions to get an understanding of our personalities so that they can be injected into the theme. We were able to exchange ideas using mood boards which was great because we could pick up on anything we didn’t like quickly but also inspire one another. It’s designing together that I loved and how the colours, textures and features evolved whilst still keeping our original concept. I say evolved because things always change but with Ilaire’s creative flare she was able to adapt anything cohesively into the theme and the end result was spectacular.
I had so much fun designing with Ilaire. She thinks of everything. Her creativity and attention to detail made such a difference. It’s amazing how the finer details can make the occasion that much more memorable. Our friends and family at numerous times throughout the evening and following weeks said this was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. They felt they were transported to another world and never had they been to a wedding where they felt included, pampered and honoured.
The other reason the wedding was ‘freakin’ awesome’ was because Ilaire is super organised and attentive. You only need to turn up and she takes care of everything and everyone. Her itinerary is simple to follow and she is contactable 24/7 and nothing is a hassle for her. Her choices in location, celebrant, patisserie, photographers and music were spot on.
On top of that, Ilaire is a really lovely person. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and takes pride in making your day perfect. I am forever grateful for the magnificent experience and lifelong memories.”
