One of the most difficult thing to choose for a Bride is her hair & makeup Artist. Everyone wants their big day to go smoothly. Gorgeous hair, beautiful skin and not too much sweat if possible… Well, remember we are in Thailand and Phuket is a Tropical island, then you will understand our MUA job is really a difficult one! But just how to choose the perfect makeup artist for our special day?
These 5 tips will help you make the right choice, and we’re not talking about your other half. ;)
- START EARLY: do some research and possibly create a mood board with your favorite hair and makeup styles as a reference, so it will be easier to find the best match with the artist. Also, don’t forget to share your Wedding Gown photo with us!
- REVIEWS MATTERS: always trust your Wedding Planner suggestions and other Brides reviews.
- TRY IT OUT: if possible, book a makeup trial prior your Wedding Day! It’s not actually so necessary for the Artists who are really well prepared, but it will help you to feel more comfortable and much more relaxed on the Wedding Day! For your peace of mind ;)
- TAKE EXPERT’S ADVICE: when you find the artist that you like the most, then listen to her/him. They have extensive experience, they know the climate, any type of skin, hair and… tons of useful Tips! Listen to their advice on which style suits you better!
- PREPARE YOUR SKIN: pamper your hair and skin in the best way along the entire Wedding Planning process, don’t wait for the day before! No matter how professional your makeup artist is, you have to do your part before. Stay hydrated, health and fit and remember to sleep long on the week before the Big day!
