The latest Wedding Flower Trend? Dried!
Welcome back to our WEEKLY TIPs and Happy Friday Everyone! Time to dust off their old-fashioned reputation and enjoy the sun-bleached hues and variety of textures of DRIED FLOWERS & LEAVES! Dried flowers are for sure this year’s biggest floristry trend. Whether you choose an entirely dried bouquet, or combine dried elements with fresh blooms for your Wedding Day, we’re simply “YES, YES YES” for this new trend! Dried flowers work for a variety of wedding styles, from a sweet vintage soiree, to a boho gathering, to a contemporary urban celebration and even the most minimalist nuptials. While dried flowers can be less colorful and fragrant than their fresh incarnations, these everlasting beauties have beautiful muted and warm tones.
Today, in particular, we want to show you the beauty of DRIED BLEACHED LEAVES: Amaranthus, Fern, Ruscus, Lunaria and Bunny Tail combined with fresh Roses, Orchid and Anthurium into this amazing Bridal Bouquet.
Our Bride Chiara is a Wedding industry fellow herself! She is the amazing florist of CA FLORAL COUTURE in Australia: http://www.cafloralcouture.com.au/ and we designed and created this unique Wedding Masterpiece together with Wedding Boutique, Phuket Wedding Planner. This kind of sumptuous yet whimsical Bouquet was just perfect for a cascade of neutral tones Silk Ribbons and the most romantic two-pieces Bridal Gown in almond color. Her Fairy tale Destination Wedding in Phuket has been fabulous yet unforgettable, a Garden Wedding overlooking the Ocean with dried flowers elements, pampas grass, botanical touches and nude tones with hints of romantic pink. All bridal parties, as well as guests, were wearing a TOTAL WHITE dress code to keep the evanescent mood and match neutral tones. Therefore for Bridesmaids, we created a dried bleached leaves bouquet with brown pampas and few pink roses to stand out on their white dresses.
